Plans & billing

"Plans & pricing" (Account → "Plans & billing") shows what you can use right now, lets you buy or cancel a plan, and explains every plan side by side: what is free, what the AI features are, the Free / Crew / Officer Pro / Ship licence table, "Why three prices?" and "How to get the AI". The same "Plan & billing" card sits on the Settings page.

When your free trial ends, the app shows the same page with the title "Your free AI trial has ended". Nothing is deleted: checklists, photos, certificates and rest hours are still there. Only the AI is paused until you pick a plan or your Master links the ship to the company licence. That page also has "Export my data (full backup)" and a "Message us" link.

The plans: Free; Crew at $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year with 25 AI questions a day; Officer Pro at $49.99 a month or $499.99 a year with 100 AI questions a day, the full mock inspector with readiness PDF, the officer tools and ship-file sharing; and the ship licence at $99.99 a month or $999.99 a year per ship for everyone aboard, 10 people included, with 100 AI questions a day per phone and a shared ship total of 100 per seat. Packs of 10 more people cost $29.99 a month or $359.88 a year. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial at Officer Pro limits, with no card, once the e-mail address is confirmed.

Everyone can read the page. Crew and officers buy Crew or Officer Pro for themselves; it follows them from ship to ship. Only the Master can buy or manage the ship licence, and that section appears only on the Master’s page (the ship licence is also bought under Settings → Ship, or by the company on the website). A company licence is linked by the Master with the link code the office receives after payment.

1. Open the menu, then Account → "Plans & billing" (or the "Plan & billing" card in Settings). The pill at the top says your access now; the line under it shows today’s AI questions used, which reset at midnight UTC.
2. Choose "Monthly" or "Yearly — pay less". Under Crew or Officer Pro, use the checkout; after payment the app says "Payment confirmed — AI is unlocked" and the plan shows "Active · renews" with the date. If online checkout is not open yet, your plan is switched on after payment.
3. Master: your ship appears as "Ship licence — <ship name>" with its own checkout. Once the licence is active, "Extra people" lets you add packs of 10 (choose "Packs of 10") or "Cancel extras". If your company bought the licence, enter the link code under Settings → Ship → "Company link code" instead.
4. To cancel, tap "Cancel Crew", "Cancel Officer Pro" or "Cancel ship licence". The plan shows "Cancelled · until" the end of the paid period; you keep it until then and then move to the free plan with nothing lost. To switch plan, cancel the current one first — access continues to the end of the paid period.
5. To use the 30-day money-back guarantee, tap "Ask for a refund" under your plan and confirm. The day you tap counts, even offline: the tap is saved on the phone and sent when there is internet. The plan ends when the refund is made and the money goes back the way it was paid.
6. Need more AI? "Double AI" doubles your daily AI questions for 30 days. It is offered on the Settings page and the moment you reach your daily limit ("You’ve used today’s AI questions"). Tap "Get Double AI"; it opens the contact form with the subject filled in and is switched on by hand after payment.

• Prices are in US dollars. Yearly is cheaper than twelve months paid monthly.
• Read the "Why three prices?" and "How to get the AI" sections on the page before buying: AI is the only thing that costs SeaReady money each time it is used, so AI is the only thing charged for.
• Fleet enquiry or a problem with a payment? Use "Message us" at the bottom of the page.

• Free plan: no AI, read every checklist question and answer the first 2 in each chapter (RightShip and BIQ5: the first 2 sections), half the videos and lesson pictures, half the mock-inspector topics, every other orals question, the top 2 news stories, 3 main PDFs a month watermarked plus up to 3 bonus prints, no ship-file sharing, and the officer tools as a preview.
• Double AI costs $3.99 on Crew, $19.99 on Officer Pro and $35.99 per ship on a ship licence, and is not refundable once used. One refund per person and one per ship (IMO number); the money-back window is 30 days from the day you paid.
• Officer tools (full mock inspector, readiness PDF, findings tracker, next-port PSC) are a read-only preview on Free and Crew. Crew gets a short AI practice of the mock inspector instead of the full interview.
• The trial is one per phone and per e-mail address, and one ship trial per IMO number. The trial ends on its end date even with no signal.
• Buying, cancelling and refunding need internet. Only the Master sees the ship licence section; crew on a licensed ship get AI once their phone is added to the ship.
