Back to website

The "Back to website" menu item opens seaready.net: the guides, the FAQs, the company page, contact and this handbook.

Updated 2026-10-11 · SeaReady’s own words. The app changes often — if a screen looks different from this page, tell us from Help → Suggest an improvement.

What it is for

"Back to website" is the last item in the Account group of the menu. It opens the public SeaReady website at seaready.net — the pages anyone can read without signing in.

The website has the home page (ships, AI, offline, pricing), the inspection guides at /guides (SIRE 2.0 preparation, RightShip preparation and more), the FAQs at /faqs (the same questions as in the app), the company page at /company where a shipping company licenses its ships and receives a licence key and link codes, the contact page at /contact, the Terms and Privacy pages, and this handbook at /handbook.

Who can use it

Everyone. The website needs an internet connection; the app itself keeps working offline.

Step by step

  1. Open the menu and tap "Back to website" under Account.
  2. Use the links at the top of the site: Ships, AI, Offline, Pricing, Companies, Guides and FAQs. On a phone, tap the menu button to see them.
  3. To return to the app, tap "Log in" (you stay signed in on this phone) or open SeaReady from your home screen.
  4. To read this handbook on the website, open seaready.net/handbook — handy for sharing a page with a colleague who does not have the app.

Tips

  • Send your office to seaready.net/company: it explains the ship licence and the office dashboard, and no app is needed ashore.

Limits and good to know

  • The website is online only. The in-app FAQs, "How a ship joins SeaReady" and the handbook pages under Help work offline inside the app.

Use it in the app

The same page sits inside SeaReady under Help → Handbook and behind the “?” in the screen’s header, and it reads offline at sea.
