Crew training progress
On a ship licence the Master sees what each crew member has practised and prints it for the inspector; everyone else sees their own.

What it is for
This page shows what has been practised in SeaReady: mock inspector sessions and their scores, orals practice, photo lessons, training videos, drills marked completed, checklist answers and flashcards. There are totals, the average scores, the weak topics of the last 90 days and a day-by-day timeline.
For the Master on a ship licence it is "Crew training progress" — every person aboard in one list, with a printable record for the inspector that shows the crew have been prepared. For everyone else it is "My training progress" — your own record only.
Who can use it
Everyone sees their own. On a ship licence each crew member’s progress goes to the ship’s Master automatically and the app says so plainly; other crew never see it, and neither does the office. On a personal plan it stays on the phone unless, in a crew group, you switch on "Share my training progress with the Master". People who left the ship stay in the Master’s list as "Former crew", read-only.
Step by step
- Open "Crew progress" from the Ship & crew menu (the Master also has a "Crew training" button on the Ship card in Settings).
- Master: in "People aboard" tap a name to see their totals, weak topics and timeline. "Former crew" are listed below the current crew.
- Master: tap "Refresh" to fetch the latest from the server; the copy saved on the phone is shown while offline.
- Master: tap "Print / save PDF — whole crew" for everyone, or open a person and tap "Print / save PDF — …" for one record.
- Crew: open the page to see your own totals and timeline, and tap "Print / save PDF" to keep a copy.
Tips
- A person who shows "Nothing recorded yet" has not used the training tools on a phone that is on the ship — give them a join code and have them add their phone.
- In a crew group the list shows "Not sharing training progress with the Master" for anyone who has not opted in; their data never leaves their phone.
- The printed record says how each score was made — the mock inspector and orals are scored by the AI or by keywords and are not an official assessment.
Limits and good to know
- The whole-crew print is a paid document (it comes with the ship licence). Your own record counts as one of the Free plan’s 3 main prints a month.
- Each phone sends its activity through the SeaReady server when it is online; the Master’s page needs a connection the first time and is saved on the phone after that.
- The last 90 days are kept event by event; older activity is kept as daily counts for 3 years. At most 250 events travel in one update.
- Weak topics are worked out from the last 90 days only.
- Leaving or being removed from the ship keeps your row with the Master, marked with the date you left; you can still read your own record. Deleting your account erases it.
